AeroSky’s Sky Trainer is an excellent trainer plane with predictable flying characteristics for the novice or intermediate pilot. The 55 inch spanned high wing delivers an inherently more stable flying characteristic while the tried and true craft design allow this bird to be docile and forgiving. The fuselage and wings were modeled to look like a scale aircraft and are constructed of durable EPO foam allowing minor crash repairs to be quick and easy. A 30A programmable ESC supports the high torque 900KV brushless motor which is driven by an 11.1v 2200mah battery, providing consistent and dependable power output. If you find yourself in a sketchy situation or a stall, the power system will deliver enough punch to bail you out. The control surfaces are operated by six 9 gram servos including flaps to slow the plane down. The AeroSky Sky Trainer is available in ready to fly, almost ready to fly, and kit trims. The ready to fly package comes fully equipped with all electronics installed. You will need to build the plane and setup the surface controls. You will also need a 11.1v lithium capable battery charger and AA batteries for the transmitter.
